Essex Cares is recruiting bank care assistants for its reablement service, helping adults regain independence in their own homes. You’ll relearn personal care, mobility and meal preparation alongside a mentor, with shifts covering mornings, evenings and weekends.

Full driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance are required, and applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Full induction, training and career development are provided.

Job description

Essex Cares is recruiting bank care assistants for its reablement service, which supports adults to regain independence in their own homes. The work centres on helping clients relearn everyday skills such as personal care, moving around and preparing meals. Bank and casual hours cover morning, evening and weekend shifts, and new staff shadow a mentor until they feel confident. No previous experience is needed, but a full licence, a car and business insurance are required, and direct applicants must already have the right to work in the UK.
