Zusammenfassung

Rocksteady Music School is seeking a dedicated Rock and Pop Music Teacher to lead band lessons across a regional area in Dorset. You’ll teach primary-age children on drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals, visiting up to 10 schools each week and travelling between locations in your own car.

This full-time role offers a salary of £28,000–£33,000 per year, with a company bonus of £1,500 and fuel contributions. Full training and ongoing development are provided to help you succeed.

Qualifikationen

• Be competent on at least two instruments: drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals.
• Willing to undertake our extensive training programme before you start.
• UK/EU driving licence and own transport required.

Aufgaben

• Teach groups of primary-age children in a fun, inspiring rock and pop band format in up to 10 schools per week.
• Teach children to play drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals.
• Work independently as part of a remote band-leaders team with central support.
• Be a role-model and help children perform live at end-of-term concerts.
• Help children develop self-belief, resilience and wellbeing through band performances.
• Represent Rocksteady to schools, teachers and parents; build relationships.
• Be prepared for active days on the road and transport equipment between locations.
