Zusammenfassung

Rocksteady Music School is seeking a full‑time Rock and Pop Music Teacher (Band Leader) to teach primary students in a regional program. You will travel between up to 10 schools per week, delivering engaging music sessions across drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals.

No prior teaching experience is required as full training and support are provided; driving between locations is essential and a company bonus scheme adds to the base salary.

Qualifikationen

• To be competent on at least two of the following instruments: drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals.
• Enthusiasm to learn how to teach band lessons and complete training before starting.
• Ability to work as an independent, organized, time‑manged team member.
• UK/EU driving licence and own transport to travel between schools.

Aufgaben

• Teach groups of primary‑age children in a rock and pop band format across up to 10 schools per week.
• Teach drums, guitar, bass, keyboard and vocals to beginners.
• Work independently as part of a remote team of band leaders with central support.
• Inspire children to perform live at end‑of‑term concerts and develop confidence and wellbeing.
• Represent Rocksteady and build relationships with schools, teachers and parents.
• Be prepared for active days and travel between schools; load and unload equipment and set up at each location.
• Load, unpack, set up, and pack away gear for each class and location.
