We are delighted to be advertising a fixed term, c ross-site rotation S pecialist Band 6 Physiotherapy post in Critical Care, working at UHBW and at NBT.
The rotation will start at UHBW on the 6th of October 2025 – you will rotate to NBT on the 3rd of December 2025 until 27 th April 2026.
You will be working with patients from a range of clinical pathways including Severe Respiratory Failure inc luding ECMO , Major Trauma inc luding neurosurgery, Cardiac and Thoracic surgery and complex rehabilitation. You will treat patients from admission through to transition of care on the wards and follow up clinic post discharge.
We are looking for a Physiotherapist who already has experience working in a critical care unit . You will be naturally empathetic, demonstrating good communication skills to facilitate close working relationships with both service users and staff.
You will need to be creative and flexible to meet the changing needs of the caseload and service.
You will demonstrate leadership qualities and take an active interest in the teaching and development of others.
You will manage your own caseload, alongside working as part of the MDT on the unit .
There will be a commitment to 1:4 weekend working + 2 bank holiday throughout a year. There is also a requirement to contribute to the Respiratory on-call rota.
You will work under the terms and conditions of UHBW as the host site .
