Job summary

Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to expand leadership and managerial skills while guiding junior team members. The role offers education and clinical leadership development across multiple sites including Ilkeston Hospital, Bennerley Fields Centre and Ripley Hospital.

You will manage a broad range of conditions, work within an integrated MDT, and contribute to discharge planning and patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• Essential: Diploma/degree in Physiotherapy
• Essential: Registered with HCPC
• Essential: Varied Band 5 experience
• Essential: Evidence of CPD
• Desirable: Leadership or management course
• Desirable: Band 6 experience

Responsibilities

• Manage clinical caseload and attend regular therapy meetings
• Undertake individual and joint therapy assessments and treatment sessions with the MDT
• Deliver rehabilitation focused on patient-centred goals and discharge planning
• Support and supervise junior team members and contribute to education and leadership
