Job summary

Derbyshire Community Health Services NHSFT is recruiting a Band 6 Community Physiotherapist to lead and support junior staff across Ilkeston Hospital and additional sites. The role involves education and clinical leadership within an integrated therapy team.

The post focuses on managing a diverse caseload including neurological, orthopaedic, respiratory and elderly rehab, with a planned 08:30–16:30 schedule and weekend shifts on a rota basis. Travel across sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Physiotherapy.
• Registered with HCPC.
• Evidence of CPD and leadership exposure.

Responsibilities

• Manage clinical caseload across a range of conditions (neurological, orthopaedic, respiratory, elderly rehabilitation).
• Attend therapy meetings and conduct assessments and treatment sessions with the MDT.
• Deliver rehabilitation focused on patient-centred goals and safe discharge home.
