Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Patient Pathway Supervisor to lead the admin team within the Spec Med service. You will supervise the Patient Pathway Co-ordinators and Administrators, ensuring high-quality patient experience and supporting service development.

Working closely with the Patient Pathway Manager and other senior teams, you will manage day-to-day operations, drive improvements, and provide clear points of contact for administrative staff

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and support the Patient Pathway Co-ordinators and Administrators within their teams, ensuring high-quality patient experience and contributing to service development.
• Improve access to information and responses for all patients, maintaining a comprehensive Patient Pathway Coordinator and Administrator service to the clinical team.
• Provide a point of contact for administrative staff and act on own initiative to resolve problems, escalating major issues to the Pathway Manager.
• Support day-to-day operational delivery of the service and maintain compliance with standard operating procedures and national requirements.
• Collaborate with the Patient Pathway manager, Service Manager and General Manager to drive workforce delivery and service improvements.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Patient Pathway Supervisor work within an established team to provide administration support for Spec Med team.

We are looking for an organised and motivated individual to support the development and implementation of new processes and procedures within the service.

You will play a key role in maintaining effective audit and supervision over the clinics and admin team, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures, national requirements and best practice, while contributing to ongoing service improvement.

Working closely with the Patient Pathway manager and Service Manager and General Manager, you will support with Day-to-day operational delivery of the service.

This will involve liaising with colleagues, consultants and other departments within the organisations.

You will have line management responsibility for the admin team; Patient Pathway Coordinator, Patient Pathway Assistant, and Patient Pathway Navigator providing day to day supervision, support and performance management to ensure high standards of service delivery.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their leadership, management and operational skills within a fast-paced NHS environment, while making a meaningful contribution to workforce delivery and patient care., The Patient Pathway Supervisor's (PPS) key role is to supervise and support the Patient Pathway Co-ordinators (PPC's) and Patient Pathway Administrators (PPA's) within their teams, ensuring high-quality patient experience and assisting service development to maintain this.To improve access to information and response to enquiries for all patients who use the service and maintain a comprehensive and efficient Patient Pathway Co-ordinator and Patient Pathway Administrator service to the clinical team. To provide a contact point for administrative staff. To act on own initiative to resolve problems and to bring any major issues to the attention of the Patient Pathway Manager.
