Job description

Up to £12.31 per hour + paid holidays plus pension

Exciting Opportunity for a Band 3 Admin & Clerical Officer

Brook Street (UK) Ltd is actively searching for a skilled Administrative Officer to join our clients within the healthcare sector for NHS in Dundonald!

This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week, offering a fantastic opportunity for a 6-month period. Excellent opportunity for job progression!

Working Hours:
9am - 5pm, Mon - Fri

Rate of Pay:
£12.31 per hour, paid on a weekly basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Input and extract patient information onto any relevant electronic information systems (e.g., Epic, PAS, Patient Centre) to provide an effective and efficient service.
  2. Select patients from the lists in clinical priority and chronological order and offer appointment/admission dates.
  3. Have a working knowledge and understanding of targets and the Integrated Elective Access Protocols (IEAP). Adhere to this policy at all times.
  4. Scanning and uploading of documents onto electronic systems.
  5. Word processing, producing reports, and working on computer systems.
  6. Supporting Team Leads to undertake patient information checks to assist audits.
  7. Actioning work queues to ensure patient data accuracy within Epic.

Requirements:

  1. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
  2. Minimum of one year’s experience in Administration and five GCSEs including Maths and English at grade C and above.
  3. Previous experience in Healthcare would be advantageous.
