Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland in Balloch is hiring Support Practitioners to join our dedicated care team. You will support seven individuals living in their homes, helping with daily living tasks, finances, medication prompts, appointments and activities, and providing emotional and social support.

No previous care experience is required; training is provided, including the opportunity to complete your SVQ. A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Empathetic and caring nature.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence with computers.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living including personal finances, medication prompts and personal care.
• Support attendance at appointments and activities and provide emotional and social support.
• Work on an outcome-based programme to build confidence and life skills.
• Engage with hobbies and social clubs to reduce isolation and promote independence.
