Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team in Hamilton and Blantyre as Support Practitioners. You will assist people living in their own homes with daily tasks, including personal care, meal prep and medication support. Full training and a funded SVQ are provided.

We value empathy, reliability, and the ability to work well both in teams and independently. A driving licence and access to your own car are required due to the nature of the role.

Qualifications

• Empathetic and caring nature.
• Good observation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confidence in using computers.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals living in their own homes with daily living, including support with medications and finances, housework, meals and personal care.
• Engage with clients in activities and hobbies and support community outings.
• Work flexibly to meet the needs of people supported and their care plans.
