Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland in Balloch is seeking a Support Practitioner to join our caring team. This is a full-time, permanent role at 39 hours per week, providing daily living support to seven individuals in their homes and local community.

You do not need prior care experience; we recruit on values and transferable skills and offer training including the opportunity to complete an SVQ. A full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Empathetic and caring by nature.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Able to work well in a team environment and on your own.
• Good organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities, finances and prompts with medication.
• Arrange and accompany appointments and activities; provide emotional and social support.
• Support individuals on an outcome-based programme to grow confidence and life skills.
• Encourage participation in hobbies, walks, social clubs and volunteering.
