Job summary

Thomas Franks is seeking a creative and effective Sous Chef to join our team at a fabulous location in Richmond. The role involves preparing food service areas, ensuring prompt service to our standards, and maintaining high hygiene and safety practices.

You will work as part of a small team at a busy site serving breakfast and supper seven days a week, with opportunities for training and career progression. Own transport may be beneficial due to the location.

Qualifications

• Reasonable English verbal skills.
• Good written English and reading skills.
• Similar experience in customer and/or food preparation environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food service areas for the day’s business.
• Ensure prompt service of meals to standards.
• Prepare, set-up, serve, clear, clean and store food, beverages or equipment.
• Restock and replenish stocks during service and pre-empt customer needs.
• Ensure kitchen operates in line with health & safety regulations.
• Attend meetings and training courses as required.
