Job summary

Cornish Bakery in Hastings is seeking a Team Leader to lead shifts, inspire colleagues and deliver outstanding customer service in a fast-paced bakery environment.

You will train and coach staff, uphold our brand standards, manage food safety and quality, and help drive sales while maintaining a welcoming, community-focused bakery atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within food service, hospitality or retail.
• Natural ability to motivate others and lead by example.
• Genuine passion for providing excellent customer service.
• Positive, dependable and solutions-focused approach.
• Confidence working in a fast-paced environment and adapting when priorities change.
• Commitment to quality, teamwork and high standards.

Working alongside the Bakery Management Team, you'll take the lead on shifts, set the pace and make sure every customer receives warm, outstanding service. You'll help colleagues build confidence, uphold our high standards and keep the bakery running smoothly.

As a Team Leader you will:
