Job summary

Cornish Bakery is looking for an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead shifts, coach staff, and ensure top-tier customer service while maintaining food quality and safety standards. The role involves driving sales, KPIs and a high-end bakery culture in a fast-paced environment.

You will train and develop colleagues, inspire the team to perform at a high level, and contribute to the bakery becoming a valued part of the local community. Eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Leadership or supervisory experience in food service, hospitality, retail or another customer-facing environment.
• Proven ability to motivate a team and deliver excellent customer service.
• Commercial awareness and confidence working towards sales and KPI targets.
• Strong commitment to food quality, safety and operational standards.
• Positive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach.
• Confidence to make decisions, take ownership and lead by example.

We are looking for an individual with passion to be our next Assistant Bakery Manager with leadership experience in food service and customer-facing environments. Proven track record of managing teams, delivering excellent customer service, meeting sales and KPI targets, and maintaining high food quality and safety standards. A motivated and adaptable leader who excels at coaching staff, improving performance, and creating positive customer experiences.
