Job summary

Wenzel’s the Bakers seeks a Shop Supervisor to lead a busy retail outlet, oversee daily operations, and drive sales while delivering excellent customer service. The role involves supervising staff, ensuring food quality, and managing stock and opening/closing duties.

You will receive full training, benefit from competitive pay (£13.00 per hour) for a 39-hour week, and enjoy a 28-day holiday entitlement along with pension enrollment and various staff incentives.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment at supervisory level is required.
• Experience working in food production would be advantageous but full ongoing training will be provided.
• Excellent customer service and ability to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create an inviting experience.
• Receive and check daily deliveries.
• Assist with branch stock and produce management.
• Maintain knowledge of products and menu items.
• Prepare food and ensure it meets company standards.
• Uphold hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
• Work efficiently within a team and manage till operations.
