Job summary

Wenzel’s the Bakers is looking for a Shop Supervisor to lead a busy team, prepare fresh food and deliver excellent customer service in Fareham. You will support the Shop Manager in daily operations, stock control, and achieving sales targets while upholding high hygiene standards.

The role offers a 39-hour week, a £13.00/hour rate, and progression through training and pension benefits. Flexible hours can be discussed where possible.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer service at supervisory level.
• Ability to train and develop staff to company standards.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create an inviting experience.
• Assist with stock management and daily shop duties.
• Maintain shop displays and ensure product knowledge.
• Prepare food to specification and monitor quality.
• Open/close the shop and manage shifts as required.
