Job summary

Wenzel’s the Bakers is looking for a Shop Supervisor in Fareham to lead a busy team, prepare fresh ingredients and deliver great service to customers.

You will be trained to Wenzel’s standards and, with a 39-hour week over 5 days, enjoy competitive pay of £13.00 per hour. We’re open to flexible hours and offer a range of staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory retail role is required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to lead a small team and manage daily shop operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and create an inviting experience.
• Receive daily deliveries and check stock.
• Assist with stock management and merchandise.
• Maintain shop displays and product knowledge.
• Prepare fresh food and ensure quality and hygiene.
• Lead the team and support the Shop Manager.
• Handle till/cash and opening/closing duties.
• Support flexible shifts and drive sales while minimising waste.
• Previous supervisory retail experience is preferred.
