Job summary

McGhee's Bakery is seeking a Bakery Operative to support the production line, packing and preparing products to high quality standards. It is a hands-on role requiring flexibility and a willingness to work across different areas of the production line.

Shifts run 18:00–02:30, five days per week (Sunday-Thursday) with 24/7 operation. Starting pay is £14.73 per hour with one 30-minute unpaid break and one 20-minute paid break daily. This is a full-time position based in Glasgow G21 1HX.

• Demonstrates attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met.

Job description

As a Bakery Operative at McGhee's, you will play a vital role in the production process, ensuring that our products are made, packed, and prepared to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on role that requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a willingness to work in different areas of the production line.

You will be shown what's required for the job you are doing and as time goes buy and you become competent, you will have the opportunity to learn a range of other jobs.

On Night shift, your hours of work will be 18:00PM -02:30AM, 5 days per week including a Sunday -Thursday. Our bakery runs 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Your starting pay of £14.73 per hour is a flat rate for all hours worked.

You will have one 30 minute unpaid break plus one 20 minute paid break each day.
