Geary's Bakeries Ltd is seeking a Production Team Leader for the NIGHT SHIFT (6pm–6am) at Glenfield. Salary includes £14.94 per hour plus £1 per hour for night work, on a 4/7 shift pattern. You will lead a bakery production team, ensuring products meet specifications and KPIs, while managing holidays, training, and paperwork.

The role emphasizes food safety, GMP adherence, and staff development, with responsibilities spanning start-up checks, KPI recording and safe operations across the shift.

Qualifications

• Experience leading production teams in a food manufacturing setting.
• Ability to manage holidays, rest days and staffing sustainably.
• Strong awareness of GMP and food safety principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop your team to produce bread to specification.
• Ensure documentation including pre-start checks, KPI data and technical docs are completed.
• Control staff to meet roles, cover for holidays and breaks as needed.
• Drive health and safety culture and ensure safe working practices.
