Job summary

KPI Recruiting are looking for a Bakery Operative for a client based in Lostock. The role runs 06:30-16:30, 5 days out of 7, with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour. Duties include working on a production line to bake goods, removing items from the oven, decorating with icing, and preparing sandwiches while maintaining hygiene standards.

The ideal candidate has production line experience, bakery exposure preferred, and can work in a team or alone with a good eye for detail.

Qualifications

• Experience on a production line in a bakery is preferred.
• Ability to work in a team or individually with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with health and safety practices in bakery environments.

Responsibilities

• Work on a production line to produce baked goods.
• Take baked goods out of the oven while following health and safety measures.
• Use piping bags to decorate cakes and other confections with icing.
• Produce sandwich items by adding fillings and shaping.
• All bakery items are handmade/decorated and area is kept clean.

The rate of pay as a Bakery Operative is:

• £12.71 p/h

The duties and responsibilities as a Bakery Operative are:

• Working on a production line to produce baked goods
• Taking baked goods out of the oven while following relevant health and safety measures
• Using piping bags to decorate cakes, biscuits and other sweet confectionary items with icing
• Producing sandwich items by adding fillings to bread and cutting into shapes
• All bakery items in this factory are hand made/ decorated
• Ensuring the area that you are working in is cleaned regularly

The ideal candidate for a Bakery Operative would require:

• Previous experience working on a production line
• Experience in a Bakery (preferred)
• Ability to work in a team or individually
• Good eye for detail
