Stateside Foods is seeking a Bakery Mixer in Manchester to support the Bakery Department in a permanent role. The person will work Monday to Friday, 13.45 to 22.00, and contribute to efficient dough production and the operation of mixers, silos and associated equipment.

The role emphasises accurate ingredient handling, adherence to recipes and procedures, and compliance with safety and hygiene policies. A collaborative team player who communicates well is preferred.

Qualificações

• Experience in production or food manufacturing is preferred.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Able to work in a warm, fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Operate bakery mixers and flour silos and assist with production machinery.
• Produce dough and ensure correct recipes and quantities are followed.
• Carry out basic line maintenance and simple repairs as needed.
• Maintain good housekeeping and hygiene standards.
• Complete checks and paperwork and escalate issues to Line Leader.
• Adhere to Health & Safety and Hygiene policies.
• Perform other bakery-related tasks as required.

We have a permanent opportunity within our Bakery Department for a Bakery Mixer

The role is working Monday to Friday 13.45 to 22.00.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of manufacturing within the Bakery department.

An overview of the role below:

• Responsible for the production of dough
• Manual usage of the bakery equipment
• Operating the bakery mixers, flour silos and various production machinery
• Carrying out 1st line maintenance and/or repairs on production machinery
• Ensuring accurate quantity of ingredients and the correct recipes are followed
• Responsible for designated critical control points
• Maintain and improve housekeeping and good manufacturing process
• Responsible for carrying out checks and paperwork
• Escalate any issues and/or errors to the Line Leader and/or Team Leader
• Other adhoc bakery related tasks
• Adhere to the company’s H&S policies and procedures
• Adhere to the company’s Hygiene policies and procedures.

Ideally candidates will have experience working within a similar role; food and/or production experience is preferred however not essential.

The successful candidate will have good communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team.

Candidates should have the ability to work in a warm fast paced environment.
