Cornish Bakery in Windermere is seeking an experienced Bakery Manager to lead a busy, customer-focused team. You will drive service standards, manage costs, and ensure top quality food while hitting sales and KPI targets.

You’ll coach staff, promote a positive culture, and own daily operations, inspiring colleagues to deliver outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced bakery environment. This full-time role offers a base of £37,000, with an on-target bonus up to £5,000 and a retention

We are looking for an experienced manager with leadership experience in food service and customer-facing environments. Proven track record of managing teams, delivering excellent customer service, meeting sales and KPI targets, and maintaining high food quality and safety standards. What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a management or supervisory role within hospitality, food service, retail, café, bakery, or restaurant environments.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing teams.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Experience managing sales targets, budgets, and KPIs.
• Food preparation and food service experience.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, food safety, and quality standards.
• Experience in staff training and coaching.
• Ability to manage stock, wastage, and controllable costs.
• Experience working in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
