Job summary

Cornish Bakery is seeking a Bakery Manager in the United Kingdom to lead an experienced team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The role emphasizes delivering outstanding service, maintaining high food quality and safety standards, and driving sales against KPI targets.

You will coach staff, optimise costs, and embed the brand standards across the bakery, while ensuring an engaging customer experience.

Proven track record of managing teams, delivering excellent customer service, meeting sales and KPI targets, and maintaining high food quality and safety standards. What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a management or supervisory role within hospitality, food service, retail, café, bakery, or restaurant environments.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing teams.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Experience managing sales targets, budgets, and KPIs.
• Food preparation and food service experience.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, food safety, and quality standards.
• Experience in staff training and coaching.
• Ability to manage stock, wastage, and controllable costs.
• Experience working in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
