Job summary

The Cornish Bakery is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead and inspire a dynamic team in a fast-paced bakery environment. You will drive exceptional customer service, maintain high standards of food safety, and manage costs while delivering strong financial results.

You will foster development, maintain the local community focus, and champion continuous improvement in quality, service and team performance across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience leading, motivating, and developing teams in hospitality, food service, or retail environments.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and hit KPIs.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, safety standards and quality control.

We are looking for an experienced manager with leadership experience in food service and customer-facing environments. Proven track record of managing teams, delivering excellent customer service, meeting sales and KPI targets, and maintaining high food quality and safety standards. What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a management or supervisory role within hospitality, food service, retail, café, bakery, or restaurant environments.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing teams.
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
• Experience managing sales targets, budgets, and KPIs.
• Food preparation and food service experience.
• Knowledge of food hygiene, food safety, and quality standards.
• Experience in staff training and coaching.
• Ability to manage stock, wastage, and controllable costs.
• Experience working in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
