Job summary

Queens View Harbour Care Home in Troon is seeking a part-time Care Assistant (4pm-9pm) to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. You will assist residents with daily living, follow care plans, and contribute to dignity and wellbeing, in a supportive team.

Training and ongoing development are provided. We offer £13.60 per hour, PVG checks paid, a pension, uniform provided and 5.6 weeks annual leave on a full-time equivalent basis.

Qualifications

• A caring, compassionate and respectful approach.

• Reliable and positive attitude.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• SVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to Part time hours per weekworking 4pm - 9pm
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
