Job summary

Queens View Harbour Care Home in Troon is seeking a caring Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, personal care and mobility. You will follow care plans to promote safety, dignity and wellbeing, while contributing to a warm, respectful environment.

Open to experienced carers or those new to care, with full training and ongoing development provided to support your journey at our luxury care home.

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential.
• A caring, compassionate and respectful approach.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living including personal care and mobility.

Renowned as the most luxurious care facility in Troon, Queens View Harbour Care Home proudly offers exceptional Residential, Nursing, Dementia, and Respite care for up to 56 residents. With an outstanding carehome.co.uk rating of 9.8 and Care Inspectorate grades of 5, 4, 5, 5, and 4, the home is committed to delivering the highest standards of care and comfort.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to Full time or Part time hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
