Job summary

Hutton Park Care Home in Largs is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to help residents with daily living tasks. You will work as part of a supportive team, delivering person-centered care that promotes dignity, independence and wellbeing.

The role involves personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional support, with full training and ongoing development offered. Experience is helpful but not essential; SVQ Level 2 is desirable or willingness to work towards.

Hutton Park Care Home is a privately-owned, luxurious residence located in the scenic seaside town of Largs. We provide high-quality, person-centred care for up to 37 residents in a warm, welcoming, and elegant environment designed for comfort and wellbeing. Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to 42 hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
