Job summary

Bay Court Care Home in Largs, part of Care Concern Group, is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support residents with daily living in a warm, person-centred environment.

You will follow care plans, assist with personal care, mobility and nutrition, and contribute to residents’ wellbeing. Full training and ongoing development are provided, with options for full-time or part-time hours.

Job description

Located in the picturesque seaside town of Largs, our brand-new, purpose-built home offers luxury living with exceptional residential, nursing, dementia, and respite care for 80 residents.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Contracted to full time & part time hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
