Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Member of Technical Staff to join a fully remote, UK-based team that is rebuilding our event-driven microservices platform within Revenue Cloud. You'll design, build, and operate backend services in Java, delivering high-volume, low-latency pricing workloads with AI integrated into the development workflow.

You should have 4–5 years of backend Java experience, hands-on with microservice architectures, and familiarity with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot,

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of backend Java experience
• Experience building and operating microservice and event-driven architectures
• Hands-on experience with AI development tools as part of regular workflow
• Ability to work independently and make decisions with ambiguity

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate backend services within a Java-based, event-driven microservices architecture
• Make sound technical decisions with incomplete information as the team learns and builds in parallel
• Critically evaluate code—your own, teammates', and AI-generated—for correctness, quality, security, and performance
