Qualifications

• Extensive background as a Software Engineer with production systems
• Strong Java backend expertise
• Experience applying AI/tools in the SDLC

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain internal tooling embedding AI into day-to-day engineering workflows
• Contribute to observability of the AI-assisted pipeline
• Automate manual steps in coding, testing, and release processes
• Split work into small, releasable pieces and ship continuously
• Collaborate with product on domain and delivery
• Drive AI adoption as an ongoing capability
• Integrate AI tooling with Jira/Confluence/GitLab
• Follow standards for responsible AI use in the SDLC
• Mentor engineers on AI tooling
• Coordinate with security/compliance on AI controls
• Track metrics like cycle time and defect rate; iterate based on data
