Job summary

Slim Chickens Merry Hill is seeking a Back of House Supervisor to lead the kitchen team and ensure high-quality, consistent dishes. You will oversee all BOH operations, enforce food safety standards, and collaborate with Front of House for seamless service.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for delivering top-quality food in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience in a kitchen or fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and ability to mentor a kitchen team.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Deep understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all back-of-house operations to ensure efficient and consistent food preparation.
• Leading, mentoring, and motivating the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Managing inventory, monitoring stock, and timely ordering of supplies.
• Collaborating with Front of House to ensure seamless service.
• Handling kitchen-related issues and resolving them promptly.
• Supporting staff training and development to uphold high standards.
• Creating a positive, productive work environment for the kitchen team.
