Kido is a place where innovation and imagination unite to create modern Early Years settings. We’re looking for a Baby Room Leader (Maternity Cover) to join our team at Kido Nursery & Preschool Waterloo, 91 Cornwall Rd, London SE1 8TH.
We are an international organization operating in India, USA, and the UK. All our UK nurseries are Ofsted rated Good or Outstanding and are based in London and Windsor. We are growing rapidly, opening 1-2 new nurseries each year. Our curriculum blends Montessori, Reggio Emilia, and Waldorf Steiner approaches, catering to children aged 3 months to 5 years. We believe in a mix of free and structured play, engaging environments, and loving care to build a strong foundation for early childhood development. Role responsibilities
As a Room Leader, you’ll be a passionate ambassador of our values, leading your team to deliver inspiring learning experiences aligned with EYFS and our curriculum. You’ll observe and assess children’s progress, support goal setting, and ensure high standards of care and education. You’ll foster curiosity and exploration, communicate effectively with parents and colleagues, and create a nurturing environment respecting each child's background and needs. Your role involves planning indoor and outdoor activities, recording milestones, and maintaining a high standard of practice.
