Shooting Stars Nurseries in Bromsgrove is offering a flexible Early Years opportunity including Part-Time Baby Room Leader (2-3 days) or Full-Time Level 3 Practitioner, or a combined role. Qualifications

• Recent experience in a nursery or childcare setting.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of the baby room.
• Coach and motivate colleagues to maintain high standards of practice.
• Build strong partnerships with parents and carers.
• Ensure children's care, learning and development needs are consistently met.
• Monitor observations, assessments and planning in line with the EYFS.
• Promote safeguarding, health and safety and wellbeing practices.
• Work closely with nursery management to continually enhance quality and outcomes.
• Act as a key person and build positive relationships with children and families.
• Deliver engaging learning experiences tailored to children's interests and developmental needs.
• Observe, assess and record children's progress.
• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment.
• Support children's communication, confidence and independence.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain excellent standards of care and education.
