Job summary

Shooting Stars Kings Norton is seeking a Nursery Room Leader (Level 3 qualified) to lead a busy room and guide a team of practitioners and students. You will deliver high-quality EYFS care, build strong relationships with families and support ongoing improvements across the nursery.

The role offers a full-time, permanent contract (40 hours/week) with progression opportunities within our Midlands group. Benefits include generous leave, DBS covered, and career development support.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
• Previous leadership experience within an early years setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS and child development.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• A positive, supportive and proactive leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Leading the day-to-day operation of your nursery room.
• Inspiring and supporting a team of practitioners, apprentices and students.
• Delivering high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
• Building strong relationships with children and families.
• Supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing.
• Promoting safeguarding, inclusion and best practice throughout the nursery.
• Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment for children.
• Support continuous improvement and quality across the nursery.
• Work collaboratively with the leadership team to deliver exceptional childcare and early education.
