Job summary

Shooting Stars Bromsgrove is seeking a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join our caring team in Bromsgrove. The role offers a full-time schedule (40 hours across 5 days) with a competitive hourly rate of £14.10. You will deliver engaging activities, support EYFS learning and build strong relationships with children and families.

Whether experienced or newly qualified, you will be supported with professional development in a nurturing setting that values quality practice and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Experience working within a nursery, preschool or childcare setting.
• Good knowledge of the EYFS.
• Passion for supporting children to achieve their full potential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
• Professional and reliable approach to teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Acting as a key person and building strong relationships with children and families.
• Supporting children's care routines and emotional wellbeing.
• Delivering engaging activities and learning experiences tailored to children's interests and developmental needs.
• Observing, assessing and recording children's progress in line with the EYFS.
• Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can flourish.
• Encouraging children's communication, confidence, independence and social development.
• Working in partnership with parents and carers to support each child's learning journey.
• Following safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies and procedures.
• Collaborating with colleagues to maintain exceptional standards of care and education.
