Job summary

Viva Recruitment in Huntingdon is seeking an Internal Sales Executive to join our growing sales team. This office-based, full-time role focuses on outbound B2B calls, lead generation and developing new business opportunities alongside the field sales team.

You will target prospects, generate appointments and quotations, maintain CRM records and work toward clear KPIs while enjoying a competitive salary of £29,000–£30,000 plus performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Previous telesales or internal sales experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident making outbound calls and handling objections.
• A proactive, positive and resilient approach to sales.
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Team player who can also work independently and take ownership of their workload.

Responsibilities

• Make proactive outbound B2B sales calls to both prospective and existing customers
• Identify new business opportunities and develop leads into potential customers
• Generate qualified appointments and sales opportunities for the field sales team
• Prepare, issue and proactively follow up quotations to maximise conversion
• Maintain regular contact with existing customers to develop relationships, increase sales and support retention
• Promote new products, services and business initiatives
• Accurately maintain customer information and update CRM systems
• Monitor and manage your sales pipeline effectively
• Work towards individual sales targets and agreed KPIs
• Collaborate with the wider sales team to maximise opportunities and support business growth
