Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is seeking an experienced Internal Sales Executive to join the Ashford team. The role focuses on selling into industrial and OEM markets, managing accounts and developing new business through proactive outbound calls.

You will build strong relationships, generate quotes, process orders, and maintain accurate CRM records while supporting the wider sales function. The position offers a £40k-£45k salary and permanent status.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in B2B sales with experience selling to OEM customers highly desirable.
• Proven track record of developing new and existing business opportunities and meeting sales targets.
• Excellent telephone communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Strong commercial awareness, organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to understand technical product specifications and translate them into customer solutions.

Responsibilities

• Proactively generate new business through outbound telephone sales and prospecting.
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities across a range of industries.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to maximise repeat business.
• Generate sales leads and convert opportunities into profitable orders.
• Prepare quotations and follow up on outstanding opportunities.
• Process sales and purchase orders as required.
• Maintain accurate customer records using the company's CRM system (full training provided).
• Work closely with colleagues across sales, purchasing and customer service to ensure excellent customer satisfaction.
• Contribute towards achieving individual and company sales targets.
• Support continuous sales growth while maintaining healthy profit margins.
