Verto People is seeking an Internal Sales Executive / Internal Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Support to drive new business and manage existing accounts in the instrumentation sector. The role focuses on pressure, temperature, level and related measurement products, with office-based duties near Ashford.

Your remit includes pre-sales guidance, quotations, and CRM-based order processing to support sales growth and profitability.

Internal Sales Executive / Internal Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Support required to join a leading engineering supplier.

The successful Internal Sales Executive / Internal Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Support will be responsible for generating new business, developing existing customer accounts and supporting continued sales growth across OEM, distributor and industrial customers.

The Internal Sales Executive / Internal Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Support will ideally have previous B2B sales experience within the instrumentation industry, with experience selling products such as pressure, temperature, level or related measurement products. Just be commutable to Ashford.

Internal Sales Executive / Internal Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Support Role

• Proactively generate new business through outbound telephone sales, prospecting and lead generation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers to maximise repeat business and account growth.
• Provide product guidance and recommendations across a range of instrumentation products, including pressure, temperature, level and related measurement solutions.
• Prepare quotations, follow up on outstanding opportunities and convert sales leads into profitable orders.
• Process sales and purchase orders while ensuring customer and opportunity information is accurately maintained within the CRM system.
• Work closely with sales, purchasing and customer service teams to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Contribute towards individual and company sales targets while supporting continued business growth and healthy profit margins.
• Office based near Ashford.

Internal Sales Executive / Internal Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Support Requirements

• Previous experience as an Internal Sales Executive, Internal Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Support, Sales Executive, Technical Advisor, Technical Sales Coordinator, or similar within the instrumentation or valve industry.
• Strong technical understanding of process instrumentation, sensors, automation, valves, pressure, temperature, level, flow, analytical, or similar engineered products is essential.
• Proven B2B sales experience, with a track record of developing both new and existing business opportunities.
• Experience providing pre-sales technical advice, recommending suitable products and delivering after-sales support.
• Confident preparing accurate quotations and proposals based on customer requirements.
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to develop long‑term customer accounts.
• Experience using ERP or MRP systems would be beneficial.
• Must be easily commutable to Ashford
