Job summary

SLS Recruitment Specialising in Further Education is pleased to present a role for a Business Development Manager focused on professional development training, including CIPD.

You will generate new business, manage inbound and outbound leads, build relationships with learners and employers, and guide customers through enrolment across B2B and B2C markets, delivering training solutions and growing revenue for a growing provider.

Qualifications

• Experience selling professional development or training courses, ideally CIPD, HR or L&D.
• Sales or recruitment experience within HR, L&D or training.
• Proven experience in sales, business development or recruitment.
• Target-driven with experience working to KPIs and revenue targets.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Commercial, proactive and resilient with a consultative approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to enrolment.
• Convert inbound enquiries and generate new business.
• Build relationships with learners, employers and partners.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and repeat business.
• Recommend the right training solutions based on customer needs.
