Cleverchefs Catering in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across Education and Business & Industry sectors. You will lead tender responses, build relationships with senior stakeholders, and manage a strong sales pipeline.

Responsibilities include identifying opportunities, delivering compelling proposals, and collaborating with operations to craft winning solutions while negotiating contracts and mobilising new accounts.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of winning new business in contract catering or B2B services.
• Experience managing competitive tender processes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new contract catering opportunities within Education and B&I sectors.
• Develop and manage a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
• Generate leads through networking, market research and proactive sales activity.
• Build relationships with senior decision-makers, procurement teams and consultants.
• Lead tender responses end-to-end from PSQ/RFI to ITT and contract award.
• Prepare and deliver engaging presentations and proposals.
• Collaborate with operational and culinary teams to develop winning solutions.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and support contract mobilisation.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts and pipeline reports.
• Own and deliver your new-business target.
