Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Manager for M&E / Building Services in Reading, UK. This hybrid, client-facing role is commutable from Basingstoke, Newbury, Bracknell, Wokingham and surrounding areas.

You will proactively generate new B2B business, targeting M&E consultants, contractors, developers and specifiers, while also managing incoming opportunities and developing relationships from scratch.

Qualifications

• Proven B2B sales / business development experience.
• Track record of proactively generating new business.
• M&E, MEP, Lighting, Building Services, AV, Smart Technology or similar background.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Proactively generate new B2B business.
• Target M&E consultants, contractors, developers and specifiers.
• Prospect, cold call and generate appointments.
• Develop new relationships and identify projects.
• Full product and technical training.
• UK client visits with office based working when not visiting prospects.
