Job summary

PSR Solutions in Reading is seeking an experienced Building Services Manager to lead the delivery of M&E packages across Reading and Oxford projects. You will coordinate design, procurement, installation and commissioning while ensuring works meet programme, budget and quality standards.

The role requires strong client and team collaboration with Project Managers, Design Managers and subcontractors, plus the ability to manage subcontractors, drive design coordination, and deliver handover with

Qualifications

• Experience as Building Services Manager / M&E Manager for main or specialist contractors.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services.
• Experience managing M&E subcontractors and supply chains.
• Experience with design coordination, installation, commissioning and handover.
• Good commercial and programme awareness.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E design, procurement, installation and commissioning across projects.
• Manage building services delivery from pre-construction to completion.
• Collaborate with PMs, Design Managers, QS and subcontractors.
• Oversee specialist M&E subcontractors and supply chains.
• Review designs and technical submissions for quality and compliance.
• Ensure works meet programme, budget and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve technical issues throughout the project.
• Support commercial team with variations and valuations.
• Drive actions from design and coordination meetings to completion.
• Maintain relationships with clients, consultants and project teams.
