The Role

We are currently recruiting for a B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer, responsible for the maintenance and repair of aircraft and equipment as directed. The role includes control of resources allocated and supervision of engineers as necessary to meet objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and certify work within the terms of company authorization, including technical logs or on company worksheets/work cards.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inspections, defect rectification, modifications, and service bulletin implementations on company aircraft as directed.
  • Ensure compliance with published maintenance documentation and company procedures, including SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) aspects.
  • Complete work cards promptly and accurately record any additional defects.
  • Immediately notify the SLAE of critical defects and collaborate with supervisors to develop solutions.
  • Maintain responsibility for the maintenance of aircraft and components allocated by the supervisor, including at detached locations to support operations.
  • Liaise with relevant departments to complete assigned tasks.
  • Operate within defined budgets and highlight potential financial risks.
  • Be responsible for and accountable for ground movement of aircraft as assigned by the SLAE.
  • Deputize for the SLAE in their absence.
  • Conduct safety checks before and during aircraft maintenance, especially during functional tests.

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Falcon 20 type rating preferred.
  • Previous experience in line maintenance acting as a certifier; some experience in base maintenance is desirable.
  • Experience with pressurized twin-engine turbine/turbo-prop aircraft above 5700KG.
  • Proven supervisory experience leading teams with a record of successful delivery.
  • Strong leadership and motivational qualities.
  • Commercial awareness, capable of working under tight deadlines and within budget constraints.
