Job summary

Gloucestershire College is seeking Learning Support Workers to assist learners under the Inclusion Team, helping them gain confidence and independence across a range of learning environments.

You will keep records, use ProMonitor effectively, and share information with staff, families and external partners. Roles are available across four campuses with both part-time and full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting SEND learners, ideally in a specialist or post-16 setting.
• GCSE Maths and English at grade C/Level 2, or willingness to work towards them.
• Practicals safeguarding experience in an education or support environment.

Responsibilities

• Support learners under the guidance of the Inclusion Team to progress and grow in confidence across learning environments.
• Keep accurate records, use ProMonitor, and share key information with staff, families and external partners.

You'llsupport learners under the guidance of the Inclusion Team, helping themprogress and grow in confidence across a range of learning environments. You'll help learners settle intocollege through transition activities and use their support plans, EHCPs andlearner profiles to guide your practice. You'll encourage independence, exploreeffective learning strategies and contribute to team meetings, training andwider college events. You'll also follow SEND guidance, safeguardingexpectations and college standards to ensure every learner receives highquality, consistent support.

Wehave a variety of Learning Support Worker opportunities available across ourfour campuses in Gloucester, Cinderford, Cheltenham and Hardwick (our newcampus). Positions are available with a range of working hours, including bothpart-time and full-time opportunities, offering flexibility to suit differentcircumstances. About You
