Job summary

Gloucestershire College is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support learners with guidance from the Inclusion Team across Gloucester campuses. You will help learners progress, using ProMonitor, and share information with staff and families to enable smooth transitions.

You’ll keep records, apply EHCPs and learner profiles to tailor support, encourage independence and contribute to staff training and college events. Role offers term-time, part-time flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting SEND learners, ideally in a specialist or post-16 setting.
• GCSE Maths and English at grade C/Level 2, or willingness to work towards them.
• Practical safeguarding experience in an education or support environment.

About this Role

We have a variety of Learning Support Worker opportunities available across our four campuses in Gloucester, Cinderford, Cheltenham and Hardwick (our new campus). Positions are available with a range of working hours, including both part-time and full-time opportunities, offering flexibility to suit different circumstances.
