Gloucestershire College seeks Learning Support Workers to assist learners across four campuses. You will support, monitor and guide progress, keeping records and sharing information with staff, families and external partners.
You will use support plans, EHCPs and learner profiles to tailor practice, promote independence and effective learning strategies, while contributing to team meetings and college events.
You'll support learners under the guidance of the Inclusion Team, helping them progress and grow in confidence across a range of learning environments. You'll keep accurate records, use ProMonitor effectively and share key information with staff, families and external partners. You'll help learners settle into college through transition activities and use their support plans, EHCPs and learner profiles to guide your practice. You'll encourage independence, explore effective learning strategies and contribute to team meetings, training and wider college events. You'll also follow SEND guidance, safeguarding expectations and college standards to ensure every learner receives high quality, consistent support. We have a variety of Learning Support Worker opportunities available across our four campuses in Gloucester, Cinderford, Cheltenham and Hardwick (our new campus). Positions are available with a range of working hours, including both part-time and full-time opportunities, offering flexibility to suit different circumstances.
