Job description

Whitehill Primary School is seeking to appoint a passionate, dedicated and highly effective Level B Teaching Assistant to join our Inclusion Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across the school, supporting our commitment to ensuring that every child feels valued, included and able to achieve their full potential. The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Have experience of working with children in a primary school setting or be willing to develop expertise in this area.
  • Be adaptable and willing to work across different year groups and phases.
  • Support pupils with SEND, SEMH needs, speech and language difficulties and other barriers to learning.
  • Deliver targeted interventions and classroom support.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
  • Be committed to working as part of a team and contributing to the wider school community.
  • Be enthusiastic about professional development and continuous improvement.
  • Be confident in the use of technology to support learning.
