Job summary

Jobtailor in Bristol is seeking an experienced Azure specialist to manage and secure our Azure-hosted IT infrastructure. You will oversee VMs, networks, storage, monitoring and backup, ensuring high availability and compliance with security standards.

Responsibilities include administering native Azure services, implementing monitoring, identity integration and alerting, and supporting Microsoft 365, Business Central and Azure DevOps deployments across the organization.

Qualifications

• Azure/Windows Server administration including patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on provisioning and management of Azure VMs, VNets, storage, backup, and monitoring.
• Networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, with Azure connectivity and security controls.
• Administration of native Azure services for monitoring, backup, identity integration and alerting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Azure-hosted IT infrastructure including VMs, networking, storage, monitoring and backup.
• Manage native Azure services for performance, scalability, security and reliability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Azure resources across internal and client-facing environments.
• Configure and support SaaS apps like Microsoft 365, Business Central and Azure DevOps.
• Adhere to security best practices to protect data and infrastructure.
• Collaborate on data security across ISO27001, SOC1/2, Cyber Essentials Plus.
