Job summary

Jobtailor in the United Kingdom seeks a senior IT infrastructure engineer to maintain secure, reliable server compute services and to support our compute infrastructure. You will identify issues, implement improvements and help strengthen our security posture across a large organisation.

Collaborating with IT and other teams, you will manage vulnerabilities, optimise performance and ensure services remain robust and secure while meeting deadlines and coordinating a varied workload.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Server Compute services to a large customer base
• Familiarity with Microsoft tooling and cloud services
• Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure projects
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Ability to plan and organise a varied workload and meet short deadlines

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical expertise ensuring systems remain secure, reliable and ready to support essential services
• Provide ongoing support, maintenance and development across our compute infrastructure
• Identify and resolve issues, implement improvements and optimise performance, security and reliability
• Contribute to the organisation’s security posture through vulnerability management and firewall administration
• Collaborate with IT and wider organisation to ensure technology services are robust and secure
