Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior engineer to design and deliver cloud-native integration solutions in Bristol. You will work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate business objectives into scalable APIs and data pipelines on AWS, using Terraform for infrastructure as code and a contract-driven testing approach.

You will own and mentor the engineering delivery, ensure production readiness, and help shape architectural standards across integration, data, and platform teams.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering AWS-based integration solutions.
• Expertise in API-first, RESTful and event-driven architectures.
• Hands-on with Terraform for IaC and automated deployments.
• Strong data engineering skills including data pipelines and dbt.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of cloud-native integration solutions on AWS.
• Build and maintain reusable APIs and data pipelines with observable operations.
• Apply contract-driven testing and TDD principles across integrations.
• Mentor engineers and align across integration, data, and platform teams.
• Drive CI/CD and production readiness with monitoring and incident response.
